Getting to Wageningen

Travel by air

The nearest airports to Wageningen are Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (93 km/58 miles) and Eindhoven Airport (82 km/51 miles). From Schiphol Airport, you can take a direct train to Ede-Wageningen station. From Eindhoven Airport you first take a bus to Eindhoven Central train station and from there on you can travel to Ede-Wageningen via Utrecht Central station.

By train

The main train station Ede-Wageningen is 10 km North of the centre of Wageningen. A second train station, Rhenen, is located 7,4 km east of the city centre. Buses regularly depart to the city centre. To check the latest public travelling information, we recommend downloading the NS-app. At the NS (the Dutch railway operator) you can use a foreign contactless debit or credit card from Maestro, V PAY, Mastercard or Visa to check-inn and pay. At the buses, you can pay inside the bus with a debit or credit card, cash won't be accepted.
